Yep, listen up folks. I have found even mentioning anything in favour of private gun ownership to people up here (urban folk anyhow) brings about a strong reaction about how unnecessary they are. I have friends who are gun owners, Americans, and in course of conversation, mentioning this fact of ownership to other Canucks often sidelines and destroys the whole chat because it becomes an anti gun thing with me on the defense.
